Welcome to the registration portal for Hoboken BOE (Brandt, Connors, Wallace) Schools!
This page allows you to register your child for afterschool chess or coding classes taught by AlphaMinds Academy that are offered exclusively for Hoboken BOE students and are conducted on site at Brandt, Connors and Wallace schools.

FALL 2025 CLASSES
Chess Beginners I
Schedule: Mondays 3:15-4:15 pm
Grades: 1-5
Dates: 9/8/25 - 11/10/25 (no cl.10/13) | 9 classes
This class is for students who are new to chess or have very limited prior knowledge of basic chess rules.

Chess Intermediate
Schedule: Mondays 3:15-4:15 pm
Grades: 1-5
Dates: 9/8/25 - 11/10/25 (no cl. 10/13) | 9 classes
This class is for students continuing with Chess classes from the previous school year and for students with prior chess experience​​

Coding: Scratch Beginners I
Schedule: Tuesdays 3:15-4:15 pm
Grades: 2-5
Dates: 9/9/25 - 11/11/25 (no cl. 09/23, 11/04) | 8 classes
This class is for students who are new to block-based coding or have very limited prior experience.
