Mondays-Tuesdays:

No classes on July 3rd, 4th

PLEASE NOTE: Our summer program is an extension of the current school year;  

New students - please contact us at info@alphamindsacademy.com if you require guidance when choosing the right level class for your child.

Current AlphaMinds students should enroll into the same level classes they have been attending in the Spring session of the current school year (2022-23)

FEES and PAYMENTS:

Annual Registration Fee: $40 for new students only (n/a for students enrolled during the 2022/23 school year)

Base Rates (per class)*:

 

Tuition is charged per semester and calculated as the base rate multiplied by the number of classes per session, based on the day of the week that each class is offered on.  To view our tuition policy, please click here.

Special Discounts: 10% discount for siblings  | 15% discount for 3rd class (applies to in-person classes only)

Accepted Forms of Payments:  

Please note: We require to have a minimum enrollment of 5 children to hold each class.  In case the minimum enrollment is not met, we will postpone the start of those classes where the enrollment is not met

CHESS CLASSES  (Gr. K-10)

Our Summer Chess Program is the perfect way to introduce the game of chess to new students, deepen understanding of the game for established players, and offer intensive instruction for aspiring chess masters.  

Our chess coaches provide engaging and stimulating lessons, puzzles, and play to help guide students through each session. Children will enjoy learning and practicing with other students who share their interest and love for chess!

CODING CLASSES (Gr. 2-10)

for children who are new to coding or have had limited exposure to block based coding.  

for children who were enrolled into our Scratch Beginners II-III and Intermediate level classes during the current school year 2022-23  and for students with extensive prior experience with Scratch

for children who are new to JavaScript but have significant prior coding experience with Scratch or similar block based teaching program

for children who were enrolled into our JavaScript course during the current school year  and for students with extensive prior experience with JavaScript

CREATIVE WRITING CLASSES (Gr. 3-8)

Our interactive lessons are designed to be engaging, challenging, and customized to meet each student's academic needs. In a fun, rewarding, and encouraging environment, students learn how to communicate through writing, while exploring their imagination and creativity!

LOGIC CLASSES (Gr. PreK & K)

Our summer Logic program focuses on teaching logic and critical thinking skills through various activities that are both challenging and fun.  Topics include Classifications, Matching and Sorting, Reasoning with Analogies,  Word Problems and Aural Reasoning,  Simple and Complex Patterns and Arithmetics.

MATH CLASSES (Gr. 1-10)

Our summer Math program focuses on reinforcing and expanding problem solving skills, as well as further developing  logic and critical thinking skills through a series of fun, yet challenging activities.

New students must complete can refer to our Math Program page for each level description and a corresponding assessment test or contact us at info@alphamindsacademy.com for guidance.

Our reading classes are taught in a very interactive and engaging way, by integrating various media, games and songs, as well as other activities designed to keep young students' focus and interest.

RUSSIAN LANGUAGE PROGRAM FOR HERITAGE SPEAKERS 

IN-PERSON:

  • RUSSIAN PREK "Развивайка"– 3-5 years old (2-hour class that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3-5 pm)

  • RUSSIAN I for children who were enrolled in out Russian I classes for the SY 2022/23 or by assessment

ONLINE:

Our summer program is based on games, fairy tales, quizzes and interactive tasks on entertaining and versatile topics aimed at the speech development of children in an unobtrusive, playful format!  Please click on the link below for more detailed information about different classes we offer, schedule and registration.​
