Registration Fee

There is a non-refundable $40 annual registration fee per child per school year, payable at the time of the registration.


Payment Schedule
  • For the Fall session, we offer options to register with a tuition plan of 2 payments (recommended if your child is enrolled into 1 class) or 3 payments (recommended for those with 2 or more classes and/or multiple children enrolled into our program).  For the Winter/Spring session, we offer the same options plus a 4 payment option.
  • A custom payment plan can be created upon request.

* If you are unable to make a payment on time, please contact us to see if a private arrangement can be made. 


Forms of Payment

We accept all major credit cards, Zelle and checks/cash payments (on site, in-person classes only). Please make checks payable to AlphaMinds Academy and indicate your child's name on the check.

Absence Policy

There are no "excused absences", and payments for missed classes will not be returned. Special cases (relocation, long-lasting illness, etc.) will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. If your child missed a class, please refer to our homework portal for classroom work and homework assignments.  Parents can schedule a makeup class in a different group, subject to availability.  Students can attend an unlimited number of makeup classes during the current session for the same subject in another group if such an option is available. One makeup per class can be carried over into the next semester at the discretion of the administration; however, this make up class cannot be used as the credit towards the next session. 


Classes Cancelation

In the event of inclement weather, information about school closing will be posted on our site in the "announcement" section, an e-mail will be sent to all parents, and a voice message will be recorded on the phone number for our branch which is 201-844-8535. We will make every attemp to schedule makeup classes but if no makeup class is scheduled, parents will receive credit for the missed class(es) towards the next semester. 


Books and Supplies
  • Students in our Logic & Math classes are required to purchase a set of Math books for their classes.  Information and details on which books to purchase will be provided after we receive your registration.

  • Students in some of our Russian might be required to purchase some instructional and/or literally materials.

  • Students in our Coding classes are expected to bring their own laptop/chromebook to each class


Catching Up and Private Tutoring

In case a student needs help catching up when starting a new class at AlphaMinds Academy mid-semester, we can arrange one on one tutoring at an additional fee. On average, in order for the student to catch up and feel comfortable in the class, one hour is needed for every 2-3 classes missed from the start of the school year. Private and semi-private classes can also be arranged on an ongoing basis at the parents request, based on teacher and space availability. Please contact us for rates. 


Refund Policy
  • Classes Already Attended: Please note that no refunds will be issued for classes that have already been attended by the student.

  • Trial Period: We offer a "Trial Period" for new students who register for our classes. If, within the first three weeks from the initial registration, you feel that our classes are not the right fit for your child, you may request to withdraw your child. In this case, we will refund 100% of your remaining tuition, minus a $40 processing fee. No refund will be issued after the child has attended the first three weeks of classes.

  • Subject Restrictions: The "Trial Period" refund policy applies only to students who are registering for our classes for the first time or to returning/current students who have never taken the specific subject in our school before. If your child has previously taken the subject with us, you cannot request a cancellation for a refund after registering for the class.

  • Move Out of the Area: In the event of a mid-semester move out of the area, AlphaMinds Academy requires two weeks' notice. After this notice period, we will issue a full refund for the remaining classes, minus a $40 processing fee.

  • Schedule Change: If you need to cancel a class due to a change in your schedule and we cannot offer you a suitable alternative, you may request a refund up to 2 weeks prior to the start of the classes, minus a $40 processing fee. After that point, no refund will be issued, unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list. Instead, we will issue you a credit that can be used towards future classes.

  • Classes in Progress: Once the classes have started, no refunds or credits will be issued, except for the specific cases outlined above.

  • Please feel free to reach out to our staff if you have any questions or require further clarification regarding our refund policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Digital and Social Media Policy

AlphaMinds Academy reserves the right to take photographs and/or make recordings of our students during the program and to use them in original or modified forms in all media now or hereafter for the promotion, public education, and/or fundraising activities of AlphaMinds Academy LLC.  We will never make any children names public.  To opt out, please contact us directly
