LOGIC PROGRAM OVERVIEW (3 - 5 yo)

At AlphaMinds Academy, we believe in providing a strong foundation in education through our Logic program for children 3-5 years old. Logic serves as the cornerstone of mathematics, reasoning, cognitive thinking, and various other disciplines. While logic is not traditionally taught in classrooms, we have developed an interactive educational program at AlphaMinds Academy that brings logic concepts to life and instills a sense of excitement for learning in children. Research has consistently shown that children who are encouraged to understand the thinking process, which is at the core of logic, tend to develop qualities such as inquisitiveness, creativity, confidence, compassion, and effective communication skills. Our Logic Program is designed to nurture these qualities by helping young children develop their thought processes, reasoning abilities, and critical thinking skills, providing them with essential tools for their formative years and beyond. Spanning a two-year curriculum, our program covers all the topics found in prominent assessments such as the OLSAT® test (Otis-Lennon School Ability Test®), the NNAT-2® test (Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test), and the ERB test. Under the guidance of our experienced teachers, children will explore arithmetic facts, engage in interactive logic games, solve carefully selected riddles and puzzles, and participate in activities specifically designed to foster logical and critical thinking skills. At AlphaMinds Academy, we are committed to empowering children with the ability to think critically, reason effectively, and approach problem-solving with confidence. Our Logic Program provides a stimulating learning environment where children can develop these fundamental skills while having fun and enjoying the journey of intellectual growth. At AlphaMinds Academy, we provide both in-person and online classes, ensuring a personalized learning experience. Our classes are conducted in small group settings to promote active participation and engagement. Additionally, private tutoring is also available upon request. TESTIMONIALS

Our 5 y.o. and 4 y.o daughters have been attending logic classes since September 2021. They really like this program. We can see how much they have grown academically in this period of time. The program is very well organized and the curriculum is  challenging, interesting and encourages critical and logical thinking.  I highly recommend AlphaMinds Academy!

Dina Kreimer (parent of PreK  and K students)

My child has been in AlphaMinds Academy since 7 years old. He took coding classes, math, algebra and geometry classes. Math program in AlphaMind Academy helped him to get into advanced Math class in middle school and take Algebra I. Last year my kid was admitted to McNair Academy, the most prestigious high school in our city. All those years we used AlphaMind Academy definitely helped him to be very successful and strong academically. Truly happy with this school!

Tatiana Newman (mother of a 14 yo)

I can say, with confidence, that the Academy made a big difference in my son's life. He excels in math and was even able to participate in the International Math Olympiad last year.  He truly enjoys spending Saturday mornings in this wonderful enterprise.

AlphaMinds only employ the most qualified instructors that are experts in their respective fields.  There are many enrichment programs to choose from but AlphaMinds is quite unique in its approach!

Paul Klein (parent of a 4th grader)

"My daughter's math grade went from Fail to A, and from "I hate math" to "I love math" WITHIN ONE YEAR. This is all you need to know about AlphaMinds Academy!"

Marina Rubinstein (happy parent of a 9th grader)

Vera Vitali
My name is Vera Vitali. I grew up in Albania, and have lived in the United States for the last 23 years. For the last 17 years, I have been teaching math from 9th-12th grade from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus in some of the top private and public schools in New Jersey. I am certified to teach math from Pre-K to 12th grade and I have a Masters in Administrator in Education. While I believe that everyone is ultimately responsible for their own learning, I believe that, as a teacher, I have been given the opportunity to influence the motivation of students in their learning process. My goal is to maximize each student's abilities and achievement to the highest level that they are capable of reaching. As a passionate learner myself, I want my love of learning to be contagious. A successful teacher recognizes the uniqueness and individuality of participants and thereby creates learning experiences appropriate to different styles of learning. It is important to facilitate a process in which the learning experience taps the resources of the group. A key component of running an effective classroom is making sure to involve individuals in the learning process so that they leave the classroom with heightened curiosity and with an increased ability to carry on their own learning. It is so important to help students feel good about themselves through designing challenging but achievable learning experiences. Success breeds success. As teachers, we need to build upon positive experiences in the classroom and make sure that students continue to grow by challenging them with new opportunities to build upon their past successes. I believe strongly in making myself available to students after classes and at the end of the school day to provide additional support and guidance in their understanding of the lessons being taught. As a team, both students and teachers can learn and grow to gain the most benefit out of their time together.
